Horus is an ancient Egyptian god who takes the form of a falcon. His right eye was the sun or morning star, representing power and quintessence, and his left eye was the moon or evening star, representing healing. He was a powerful sky god, often associated with the solar disc, and was also the protector of royalty, avenger of wrongs, defender of order, and uniter of lands.
